How to get to the Buffalo Bar

Tube/Train: The Buffalo Bar is located directly outside Highbury Islington tube (Victoria Line) and train (Silverlink Metro) station. Current travel timetables/last train times and details of engineering work/expected delays can be found via the Transport For London (link) or Silverlink Trains (link) websites.

VICTORIA LINE ENGINEERING WORKS NOTE: The Victoria line will close from 2200 on Monday to Thursday evenings from Monday 4 February 2008 until Thursday 20 November 2008 inclusive for line upgrade works. Two replacement bus services will operate.

Replacement bus services will operate as follows:
Service A: Finsbury Park - Manor House (for the Piccadilly line) - Seven Sisters - Tottenham Hale - Blackhorse Road - Walthamstow Central

Service B: Victoria - Pimlico - Vauxhall - Stockwell - Brixton

Valid London Underground tickets will also be accepted on local bus services 2 24 30 36 88 123 185 230 and 436, and also on National Rail routes between Liverpool Street and Walthamstow Central, Victoria and Herne Hill, Elephant & Castle and Herne Hill, and Waterloo and Vauxhall.

Bus: Highbury and Islington Station is directly served by buses 4 (Waterloo-Tufnell Park), 19 (Battersea Bridge-Finsbury Park), 30 (Marble Arch-Hackney Central), 43 (London Bridge-Friern Barnet), 271 (Liverpool Street-Highgate), 393 (Chalk Farm-Clapton), 277 (Highbury-Leamouth). From the North M1/A1:
Leave the M1 at junction 2, then merge onto Great North Way (signposted A1 North Circular Road East, Central London - The City) Entering Mill Hill. Continue forward onto Great North Way. At Henlys Corner continue forward then take right-hand lanes and branch right onto Falloden Way - A1 (signposted Central London, Holloway). Continue forward onto Lyttelton Road - A1. Entering East Finchley. At Highgate gyratory bear right (one-way) then keep forward onto Archway Road - A1 (signposted Central London, Holloway, Archway). Continue forward onto Archway Road - A1. Entering Highgate. Continue forward onto Archway Road - A1. Entering Holloway. At Archway bear left (one-way) then bear right then bear left onto the A1 (signposted Central London, Holloway). At Highbury Corner roundabout take the 3rd exit onto the A1 (signposted Central London, Islington) The bar is directly adjacent to Highbury and Islington tube station.
