Damn Vandals are a London based band, who have been together for just 2 years. The distinctive and powerful vocals of lead singer, Jack Kansas, have already drawn comparisons to Ian Curtis, David Bowie, Billy Idol and The National. They are now busy preparing for the highly anticipated release of their debut EP, supported by a UK tour, before making plans for their debut album release, later in the year.
Playlounge are a London based semi-instrumental '90s inspired duo comprising of band whore Snow Watkins and child prodigy Laurie Foster. Initially Playlounge formed to see how much of a career they could make from ripping off American Football's eponymous debut, but before long the boys tired of the girls, drugs and money and set about creating a sound of their own. Adding keyboards and a lot more noise to the equation, which in turn (unfortunately) took the girls, drugs and money out of it. Having recently completed recording on the '6 Day Cold EP' the band are now set to see how far Playounge 'mark 2' can take things.
